"Dear CC Crew……..

Just have to rave for a moment about your Coconut Vanilla Cacao Organic Sugar Scrub!  I am totally a product junkie and wear the label proudly.  I’ve tried a ton of upscale, all-natural, organic, break-the-bank products from high-end NYC department stores to local mom and pop boutiques and everything in between.  My 24-year-old daughter and I are always on the lookout for products that make our skin feel and look nourished and healthy.  Plus, I want whatever I put on my skin to smell yummy so that not only do I feel good, I also smell good.  And of course since I’m in the over 50 crowd, I’d love to find that miracle moisturizer that helps slow down the aging process.  Enter Coconut Clean’s Coconut Vanilla Cacao Organic Sugar Scrub……….it not only has a delightfully sweet and chocolate-y aroma that makes me smile, but it leaves my face, body, legs and arms feeling super moisturized.  I use it right before I get out of the shower in the morning and then pat myself dry.  It’s great under my make-up and under my face and body moisturizer and sets me up for the day.  I just ordered two more jars of it and some other new Coconut Clean products that I can’t wait to try.  Thanks a ton for creating this awesome product!"

Hillfarm Lavender

In our first feature blog, we thought weʻd talk about one of our favorite product ingredients: Lavender!  Ok, so most of us know that lavender has amazing healing properties and that itʻs relaxing, so what makes our lavender special?  Well, because itʻs Hillfarm lavender.

Hillfarm Lavender, aka “Lavanda” is grown by our family in northern Italy. The Hillfarm, known by the locals as “Azienda agricola delle colline”, is located near Laverda, right outside of Marostica . Sitting on the Hillfarm veranda, youʻll be amazed by the panoramic view! From the tips of the Dolomites in the distance to the tiny villages in the valleys below, the farm has the perfect backdrop for nibbling on local cheese and wine.

 The Hillfarm, which primarily produces olives for the familyʻs private olive oil stock, is also home to the most aromatic lavender we have ever encountered. Lavender is one of Coconut Cleanʻs most popular aromatherapy lines and plays a big part in our production process, so we had to have the absolute best. There was no doubt that we had found it here at the foot of the Italian Alps! Our fragrant lavender is organically grown by the Hillfarmʻs loving residents – Linda and Massimo! Being humble people, they give all of the credit to Billy, who lives on the premises and does the majority of the farm work.  In fact, they are so indebted to him that Linda & Massimo considered changing the name of the farm to “Billy Farm”

So, when you indulge in our Lavender Coconut Water Mist or Soak in a tub filled with our Lavender Bath Salts, let your thoughts carry you to the Hillfarm, one of the most beautiful and peaceful places on earth!
