Why quality ingredients matters:

Most all of us are watching our budgets these days and cutting corners where we can. We are faced with many choices and compromises to make ends meet.  We want to eat healthy, so we spend our money on organic and non GMO foods as an investment in our health. Yet we often don't think of what we put on our skin and hair as an equally important investment in our health.

If you eat healthy but bathe with products made from chemical sources, you can undo the efforts of a good diet.  Skin is the bodyʻs largest organ and absorbs everything it comes in contact with.  There are many unhealthy additives in everyday skin care and bath products that most of us aren't aware of. It is crucial to read labels! Many of the bad ingredients in personal care products are directly linked to cancer and auto-immune diseases.

Coconut Clean was founded because of a quest for healthy skin care products. After a scary bout with melanoma, I became very aware of what I put on my skin.  During the research process, I was horrified to learn what is allowed in the products we use everyday.  I discovered that many of the "natural" products contained unhealthy ingredients. I realized the only way I could trust the quality of what I put on my skin was to make it myself. Having a background in aromatherapy and chemistry made this possible, so it became my lifeʻs mission to create something good for myself and everyone!
Our goal is to provide the cleanest products on the market. We take pride in the pure ingredients our products are made from… Our soap is our passion and we have Organic Soap for sale. You can find handmade, natural bar soap all over the internet, at your local farmers market or crafts fair, perhaps priced cheaper than ours… Why is ours more expensive? INGREDIENTS!  We refuse to compromise our quality. Many soap crafters make their soaps with a melt & pour soap base, which contain cheap chemical ingredients. We use the cold-process method to make ours from scratch and never cheapen the blend by using soybean oil, corn oil, palm oil, canola oil. These are grown from genetically modified seeds, are harmful to the environment and provide little or no benefits for your skin. Most soap crafters cut their bars a little smaller and don't cure them as long as we do, which produces a harsher soap. We invite you to read our ingredient labels and be proud to use products that are truly good for you and the world.

Take the Coconut Oil CleanseOrganic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is our founding ingredient! Organic Coconut Oil for Hair and skin care is the best thing you can use. We scent our divine soaps with essential oils and botanical extracts, not synthetic fragrance.  We strive to bring you the best possible products that last longer and are far more beneficial for your health. From our Hawaiian Sea Salt Scrubs to our petroleum-free lip smoothies, we strive for chemical free purity at affordable prices.
